Ziyarat Warith

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ آدَمَ صِفْوَةِ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Adam, the chosen one of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ نُوحٍ نَبِيِّ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Nuh, the Prophet of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ إِبْرَاهِيمَ خَلِيلِ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Ibrahim, the Friend of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُوسَى كَلِيمِ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Musa, the one who spoke to Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ عِيسَى رُوحِ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Isa, the Spirit of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ مُحَمَّدٍ حَبِيبِ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of Muhammad, the Beloved of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَارِثَ أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ وَلِيِّ اللَّهِ

Peace be on you, O heir of the Commander of the Faithful, the close friend of Allah.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ الْمُصْطَفَى

Peace be on you, O son of Muhammad the Chosen One.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ عَلِيٍّ الْمُرْتَضَى

Peace be on you, O son of Ali the Pleased One.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ فَاطِمَةَ الزَّهْرَاءِ

Peace be on you, O son of Fatimah al-Zahra.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ابْنَ خَدِيجَةَ الْكُبْرَى

Peace be on you, O son of Khadijah the Great.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا ثَارَ اللَّهِ وَابْنَ ثَارِهِ وَالْوِتْرَ الْمَوْتُورَ

Peace be on you, O vengeance of Allah and son of His vengeance, and the unavenged one.

أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ قَدْ أَقَمْتَ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتَيْتَ الزَّكَاةَ

I bear witness that you established the prayer and paid the Zakat.

وَأَمَرْتَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَنَهَيْتَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأَطَعْتَ اللَّهَ وَرَسُولَهُ حَتَّى أَتَاكَ الْيَقِينُ

And you enjoined the good and forbade the evil, and you obeyed Allah and His Messenger until the certainty (death) came to you.

فَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً قَتَلَتْكَ وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً ظَلَمَتْكَ

So may Allah curse the people who killed you, and may Allah curse the people who oppressed you.

وَلَعَنَ اللَّهُ أُمَّةً سَمِعَتْ بِذَلِكَ فَرَضِيَتْ بِهِ

And may Allah curse the people who heard of that and were pleased with it.

يَا مَوْلاَيَ يَا أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ أَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ كُنْتَ نُوراً فِي الْأَصْلاَبِ الشَّامِخَةِ وَالْأَرْحَامِ الْمُطَهَّرَةِ

O my Master, O Aba Abdillah! I bear witness that you were a light in the lofty loins and the purified wombs.

لَمْ تُنَجِّسْكَ الْجَاهِلِيَّةُ بِأَنْجَاسِهَا وَلَمْ تُلْبِسْكَ مِنْ مُدْلَهِمَّاتِ ثِيَابِهَا

Ignorance did not contaminate you with its impurities, nor did it clothe you in its dark garments.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ مِنْ دَعَائِمِ الدِّينِ وَأَرْكَانِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

And I bear witness that you are among the pillars of religion and the supports of the faithful.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ الْإِمَامُ الْبَرُّ التَّقِيُّ الرَّضِيُّ الزَّكِيُّ الْهَادِي الْمَهْدِيُّ

And I bear witness that you are the righteous, pious, pleased, pure, guiding, and guided Imam.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ الْأَئِمَّةَ مِنْ وُلْدِكَ كَلِمَةُ التَّقْوَى وَأَعْلاَمُ الْهُدَى وَالْعُرْوَةُ الْوُثْقَى وَالْحُجَّةُ عَلَى أَهْلِ الدُّنْيَا

And I bear witness that the Imams from your descendants are the words of piety, the signs of guidance, the firmest handle, and the proof over the people of the world.

وَأُشْهِدُ اللَّهَ وَمَلاَئِكَتَهُ وَأَنْبِيَاءَهُ وَرُسُلَهُ أَنِّي بِكُمْ مُؤْمِنٌ وَبِإِيَابِكُمْ مُوقِنٌ

And I call Allah, His angels, His prophets, and His messengers to witness that I believe in you and am certain of your return.

بِشَرَائِعِ دِينِي وَخَوَاتِيمِ عَمَلِي وَقَلْبِي لِقَلْبِكُمْ سِلْمٌ وَأَمْرِي لِأَمْرِكُمْ مُتَّبِعٌ

In accordance with the laws of my religion and the outcome of my deeds, and my heart is at peace with your heart, and my affair follows your affair.

صَلَوَاتُ اللَّهِ عَلَيْكُمْ وَعَلَى أَرْوَاحِكُمْ وَعَلَى أَجْسَادِكُمْ

May the blessings of Allah be upon you, and upon your souls, and upon your bodies.

وَعَلَى أَجْسَامِكُمْ وَعَلَى شَاهِدِكُمْ وَعَلَى غَائِبِكُمْ وَعَلَى ظَاهِرِكُمْ وَعَلَى بَاطِنِكُمْ

And upon your forms, and upon your present, and upon your absent, and upon your manifest, and upon your hidden.
