Ziyarat Ale Yasin

سَلاَمٌ عَلَى آلِ يس

Peace be on the family of Yasin.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا دَاعِيَ اللَّهِ وَرَبَّانِيَّ آيَاتِهِ

Peace be on you, O caller of Allah and interpreter of His verses.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَابَ اللَّهِ وَدَيَّانَ دِينِهِ

Peace be on you, O door of Allah and applier of His religion.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا خَلِيفَةَ اللَّهِ وَنَاصِرَ حَقِّهِ

Peace be on you, O vicegerent of Allah and helper of His right.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا حُجَّةَ اللَّهِ وَدَلِيلَ إِرَادَتِهِ

Peace be on you, O proof of Allah and the guide to His will.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا تَالِيَ كِتَابِ اللَّهِ وَتَرْجُمَانَهُ

Peace be on you, O reciter of Allah's book and its interpreter.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ فِي آنَاءِ لَيْلِكَ وَأَطْرَافِ نَهَارِكَ

Peace be on you in your night and in your day.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا بَقِيَّةَ اللَّهِ فِي أَرْضِهِ

Peace be on you, O remnant of Allah on His earth.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا مِيثَاقَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي أَخَذَهُ وَوَكَّدَهُ

Peace be on you, O covenant of Allah, which He took and confirmed.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ يَا وَعْدَ اللَّهِ الَّذِي ضَمِنَهُ

Peace be on you, O promise of Allah which He guaranteed.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْعَلَمُ الْمَنْصُوبُ وَالْعِلْمُ الْمَصْبُوبُ وَالْغَوْثُ وَالرَّحْمَةُ الْوَاسِعَةُ وَعْداً غَيْرَ مَكْذُوبٍ

Peace be on you, O manifest flag and the poured knowledge and the help and the wide mercy, a promise which is not a lie.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقُومُ

Peace be on you when you stand.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقْعُدُ

Peace be on you when you sit.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَقْرَأُ وَتُبَيِّنُ

Peace be on you when you read and explain.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُصَلِّي وَتَقْنُتُ

Peace be on you when you pray and supplicate.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَرْكَعُ وَتَسْجُدُ

Peace be on you when you bow and prostrate.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُهَلِّلُ وَتُكَبِّرُ

Peace be on you when you say 'La Ilaha Illallah' and 'Allahu Akbar'.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تَحْمَدُ وَتَسْتَغْفِرُ

Peace be on you when you praise (Allah) and seek forgiveness.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ حِينَ تُصْبِحُ وَتُمْسِي

Peace be on you when you enter the morning and the evening.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ فِي اللَّيْلِ إِذَا يَغْشَى وَالنَّهَارِ إِذَا تَجَلَّى

Peace be on you in the night when it covers and the day when it shines.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْإِمَامُ الْمَأْمُونُ

Peace be on you, O the Imam, the Trusted.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ أَيُّهَا الْمُقَدَّمُ الْمَأْمُولُ

Peace be on you, O the Forwarded, the Expected.

اَلسَّلاَمُ عَلَيْكَ بِجَوَامِعِ السَّلاَمِ

Peace be on you by the collections of salutations.

أُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أَنِّي أَشْهَدُ أَنْ لاَ إِلَهَ إِلاَّ اللَّهُ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ

I make you witness, O my Master, that I testify that there is no god but Allah, He is One, there is no partner for Him.

وَأَنَّ مُحَمَّداً عَبْدُهُ وَرَسُولُهُ لاَ حَبِيبَ إِلاَّ هُوَ وَأَهْلُهُ

And that Muhammad is His servant and His messenger; there is no beloved except him and his family.

وَأُشْهِدُكَ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ حُجَّتُهُ

And I make you witness, O my Master, that Ali, the Commander of the Faithful, is His proof.

وَالْحَسَنَ حُجَّتُهُ وَالْحُسَيْنَ حُجَّتُهُ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ الْحُسَيْنِ حُجَّتُهُ

And Al-Hasan is His proof, and Al-Husayn is His proof, and Ali ibn Al-Husayn is His proof.

وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ وَجَعْفَرَ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهُ

And Muhammad ibn Ali is His proof, and Ja'far ibn Muhammad is His proof.

وَمُوسَى بْنَ جَعْفَرٍ حُجَّتُهُ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُوسَى حُجَّتُهُ

And Musa ibn Ja'far is His proof, and Ali ibn Musa is His proof.

وَمُحَمَّدَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ وَعَلِيَّ بْنَ مُحَمَّدٍ حُجَّتُهُ

And Muhammad ibn Ali is His proof, and Ali ibn Muhammad is His proof.

وَالْحَسَنَ بْنَ عَلِيٍّ حُجَّتُهُ

And Al-Hasan ibn Ali is His proof.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّكَ حُجَّةُ اللَّهِ

And I testify that you are the proof of Allah.

أَنْتُمُ الْأَوَّلُ وَالْآخِرُ وَأَنَّ رَجْعَتَكُمْ حَقٌّ لاَ رَيْبَ فِيهَا

You are the First and the Last, and that your return is a truth, there is no doubt in it.

يَوْمَ لاَ يَنْفَعُ نَفْساً إِيمَانُهَا لَمْ تَكُنْ آمَنَتْ مِنْ قَبْلُ أَوْ كَسَبَتْ فِي إِيمَانِهَا خَيْراً

The day when belief will not benefit a soul that had not believed before or earned good through its faith.

وَأَنَّ الْمَوْتَ حَقٌّ وَأَنَّ نَاكِراً وَنَكِيراً حَقٌّ

And that death is true, and that Nakir and Nakir are true.

وَأَشْهَدُ أَنَّ النَّشْرَ حَقٌّ وَالْبَعْثَ حَقٌّ

And I testify that the Resurrection is true and the Raising is true.

وَأَنَّ الصِّرَاطَ حَقٌّ وَالْمِرْصَادَ حَقٌّ

And that the Path (Sirat) is true and the Watch Tower (Mirsad) is true.

وَالْمِيزَانَ حَقٌّ وَالْحَشْرَ حَقٌّ

And the Balance (Mizan) is true and the Gathering (Hashr) is true.

وَالْحِسَابَ حَقٌّ وَالْجَنَّةَ وَالنَّارَ حَقٌّ وَالْوَعْدَ وَالْوَعِيدَ بِهِمَا حَقٌّ

And the Accounting is true, and Paradise and Hell are true, and the Promise and Threat concerning them are true.

يَا مَوْلاَيَ شَقِيَ مَنْ خَالَفَكُمْ وَسَعِدَ مَنْ أَطَاعَكُمْ

O my Master! Unfortunate is he who opposes you and happy is he who obeys you.

فَاشْهَدْ عَلَى مَا أَشْهَدْتُكَ عَلَيْهِ وَأَنَا وَلِيٌّ لَكَ بَرِيءٌ مِنْ عَدُوِّكَ

So witness what I have made you witness upon, and I am a friend to you, disassociated from your enemy.

فَالْحَقُّ مَا رَضِيتُمُوهُ وَالْبَاطِلُ مَا أَسْخَطْتُمُوهُ

So the Truth is what you are satisfied with, and Falsehood is what you are angry with.

وَالْمَعْرُوفُ مَا أَمَرْتُمْ بِهِ وَالْمُنْكَرُ مَا نَهَيْتُمْ عَنْهُ

And the Good is what you commanded, and the Evil is what you forbade.

فَنَفْسِي مُؤْمِنَةٌ بِاللَّهِ وَحْدَهُ لاَ شَرِيكَ لَهُ وَبِرَسُولِهِ وَبِأَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ

So my soul believes in Allah alone, He has no partner, and in His Messenger, and in the Commander of the Faithful.

وَبِكُمْ يَا مَوْلاَيَ أَوَّلِكُمْ وَآخِرِكُمْ وَنُصْرَتِي مُعَدَّةٌ لَكُمْ وَمَوَدَّتِي خَالِصَةٌ لَكُمْ

And in you, O my Master, the first of you and the last of you. And my help is prepared for you and my love is purely for you.

آمِينَ آمِينَ

Amen, Amen.
